You can participate on your city's regenerative fund!

If you live in one of the 34 cities of the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte, you can participate on the cocreation of your city's regenerative fund.

If you live in a different city, we also incentivize you to create a communitary fund for your city. An easy way to do this is through a chapter of Awesome Foundation, that works as a circle of donations and can be created without the need of EIN.

Five steps to create a regenerative fund at Great BH

Start a fund in your city is very easy and we'll help you throughout.

  1. Start learning about it!

    Search about communitary funds and giving circles, watch this vídeo or read about the history of Brumadinho's Regenerative Fund. You cna also check out existing funds on this site to learn about their projects.

  2. Get in contact

    You can get in contact through the email contato@nossacidade.net or whatsapp telling us about your wanting to participate in a fund of your region. We have some spots for volunteers in which you can apply yourself.

  3. Recruit your Curators

    For a new fund to be stabilished, we will need a committee to select projects, which we call "curatory". This committee is rotative, made up of denizens that volunteer to analyze projects impartially. They contribute with a small monthly financial aid and at least 5 hours of work. Your job is to find who these people will be and gather them!

  4. Obtain resources

    A fund without resources doesn't work, right? On this phase we'll help you to create a fundraising campaign through Benfeitoria and providing some pointers on how to mobilize resources locally for your fund.

  5. Launching

    Congratulation! The communitary fund on your city is a reality now. Tell everyone about this new possibility of funding marvelous ideias and regenerative projects. Maybe the occasion is worth a debut party, huh? Let's celebrate together the projects that become a reality in your city!
